Hello and a very warm welcome from all the staff at this one-woman practice! I’m a coach and systemic therapist, with skills developed through a career in child psychiatry. I trained in London, at UCLH, Maudsley Hospital, GOSH and at The Marlborough Family Centre. I was lucky to train with family therapists who inspired me to train in family therapy myself and I went on to work as consultant child psychiatrist in Cambridge. I read for a masters in Occupational Psychology before leading children’s services in Cambridgeshire for several years. The job of child psychiatrist is a real calling and one of the most worthwhile things you can do. One reason for moving on was that the medical role had changed so much with so much less time for talking with patients and their families. After retiring, I trained in mediation and coaching and refreshed my accreditation as a therapist. Here’s what I currently offer
